ENABLE DMA FOR WINDOWS 98

FOR WINDOWS XP

Go to C:Windows\ directory, search for a folder labelled Prefetch, which contains cached versions of commonly-accessed files. Dump out this folder once every three to four months or so. After doing so, reboot. By this way, fresh copies of the most commonly-accessed files are kept there, which may result in faster boot times and load times for most applicatio that you run.

*NOTE*
Clearing your Prefetch folder does not harm your computer. It is safe to throw everything in that folder whenever you feel to do so. Also, when you reboot after clearing the folder, it might take a bit more time to startup Windows.
